The Association of Citizens Akcija Zdruzenska-Skopje and the Association for
Emancipation, Solidarity and Equality of Women in the Republic of Macedonia, in
the period 15-18.06.2006, in Stip organized conference for representatives from
Social Care Centers and NGOs which provide direct services to the domestic
violence victims.
The conference is activity within the project “Establishing Unified and
Positive Practices in Combating Domestic violence in Macedonia”, as a part of
activities towards standardization of the providers of direct services to the DV
victims.
The purpose of this conference was services mapping and assessment of the
type of services which are currently available to the victims of DV, and also
about the way in which this services are provided by national and local direct
services supplier.
At the conference the participants had the opportunity to elaborate the type
and the way of providing services to DV victims, through presentation of
individual experience which includes practical case of DV.
