On 28-30.05.2010 in Hotel Belvedere, Ohrid was organized two
days educative workshop on topic “Developing monitoring framework for the
implementation of the Law on Equal Opportunities of Women and Men on local
level” for 22 representatives of the monitoring teams from 11 NGOs.
The purpose of the workshop was to extend the knowledge of
the participants on the broader context of the specific policies for gender
equality, international actors and their programs/activities, the processes of
consultations within the civil society and the importance of strengthening the
monitoring role of women activism. Part of the workshop was dedicated on
developing draft of the monitoring framework.
This activity is carried out within the Annual Program of
Akcija Zdruzenska for 2010, financially supported by CIVICA Mobilitas, FOSIM
-Macedonia and Balkan Trust for Democracy.
