Introductory training within the project

As part of the project “Establishing Unified and Positive Practices in
Combating Domestic Violence in Macedonia”, the Citizens’ Association Akcija
Zdruzenska – Skopje and the Association for Emancipation, Solidarity and
Equality of Women in the Republic of Macedonia, in the period 13– 16.04.2006, in
Krusevo organized an introductory training for representatives from the Ministry
of Labour and Social Policy, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Health
and civil law judges.

On the introductory training, the participants were given the opportunity to
become familiar with the objectives and key project activities. The goal of the
introductory training was to introduce the participants from the working group
with the phenomenon of domestic violence, consequences from domestic violence,
criminal and civil law regulations of the issue of domestic violence, as well as
to inform them on the already developed internal procedures and protocols for
actions within the Ministry of Internal affairs, Ministry of Labour and Social
Policy and the key NGOs providing services for domestic violence victims.
