Working session towards unification of civil justice system in combating domestic violence in Macedonia

As part of the project “Establishing Unified and Positive Practices in
Combating Domestic violence in Macedonia”, the Association of Citizens Akcija
Zdruzenska-Skopje and the Association for Emancipation, Solidarity and Equality
of Women in the Republic of Macedonia-ESE, in the period 02-05.11.2006, in
Mavrovo, organized working session for representatives from the Ministry of
Labour and Social Policy, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health and civil law
judges.

This is the third of the six working sessions within the activities towards
unification of civil justice system, towards development procedures for
proposing, issuing, implementation and continuation with the civil restraining
orders.

On this session the results of completed questionnaires by Social Care
Centers and Basic Court regarding civil restraining orders, have been discussed.
Current practice analyses of civil restraining orders have been conducted as
well and the process of creating procedures for each institution separately has
commenced.
