As part of the activities of the Women’s Civic Initiative – GIZ Sveti Nikole, a meeting was held with women from the village of Gjugjanci to finalize proposals on priority issues aimed at improving living conditions in the local community. Through open discussions and exchanges of views, the participants identified the key needs and challenges faced by the village residents, focusing on issues that directly affect their everyday lives.
The identified priorities will serve as a basis for further advocacy efforts directed at local authorities, with the aim of ensuring that the needs and proposals of women from Gjugjanci are recognized and adequately incorporated into local policies, programmes, and activities. This approach enables women from rural communities to actively participate in decision-making processes and contribute to the development of their communities.
The activities of GIZ Sveti Nikole aim to encourage civic participation and strengthen women's voices in local decision-making processes. By bringing women together, fostering connections, and jointly defining priorities, these efforts create opportunities for more inclusive and accountable local governance, ensuring that women's needs are heard and taken into consideration when making decisions that affect the entire community.
