During the workshop, participants discussed public policies, identified institutional gaps and needs, and practiced advocacy techniques for equality and rights.
They learned how to identify the institutions responsible for ensuring gender equality, developed a vision for improved institutions, and proposed concrete solutions for change.
With a clear goal — institutions that work in the interest of women and gender equality — the participants took a step from local to national-level engagement.
This activity is part of the project “Women Taking the Lead in Local Communities”, implemented by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, Akcija Zdruzhenska, and the Humanitarian Association Majka from Kumanovo, and funded by the Delegation of the European Union in North Macedonia and co-funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje.
