Basic Training on NGO Development

The two-module training program (2 three-day seminars with practical task for
the participants between the two modules) is intended for members of both
genders from newly-established or less active NGOs.

The Program has been developed with the aim at assisting NGOs in:

Recognizing the position and the role of their organizations in the
wider context and in the light of civil society developing;
Identifying and selecting the most appropriate model and frame for
organization’s operation and management;
Exchanging information and experiences, and mutual familiarization.

The Program consists of combined basic contents on the following topics:

Role of NGOs;
Challenges for the NGO sector’s stability;
Mapping the NGO sector in Macedonia;
Needs assessment;
Strategic planning;
Fundraising and project writing;
Management/leadership;
Team work;
Volunteering;
Networking and establishing coalitions;
Public relations.
