FemFest

29.6.-5.7. 2009 in Prilep and Skopje

Femfest was a week festival of music, art and workshops done by women or with
a topic connected to women ;-).

During the festival gigs of eight female/mixed bands and DJs from Macedonia,
Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and the Czech Republic were held.

Apart from the "funny" part Femfest also brought the topics of discrimination
of women on the employment market, the influence of today’s media on female
standards of beauty and sexism and racism of Roma women in Macedonia.

Femfest was organized by Peace Action
(http://www.mirovnaakcija.org ) in cooperation with Akcija Zdruzenska with
help of many friends.
