The Association of Citizens “Akcija Zdruzhenska” on
21.12.2010 in hotel Holiday Inn, Skopje, organized a forum on the topic “The
effectiveness of the existing practices for monitoring and assessment the
progress in implementation of the specific policies on gender equality in
Republic of Macedonia: situation and challenges”
The objective of this forum was to open the question of
continuous and systematic monitoring and assessment of the processes for
implementation of the specific policies on gender equality in Macedoina, as
necessary requirement for their effectiveness and efficiency.
On the forum were invited representatives from
nongovernmental organizations, relevant government institutions and
international organizations/institutions which had opportunity to exchange
opinions and suggestions towards improving the processes of monitoring,
assessment and reporting the progress on implementation of the policies and
their effects in terms of:
Institutional mechanisms for monitoring and
coordination on the processes of implementation
Criteria of monitoring and assessment of the progress
Reporting related to the effects from the implemented
policies
This activity is carried out within the Annual Program of
Akcija Zdruzhenska, financially supported by CIVICA Mobilitas , FOOSIM-Macedonia
and Balkan Trust for Democracy.
