The Akcija Zdruzenska women instructors’ team has been trained to
apply the most contemporary methods of knowledge transfer. Basic features of
training seminars conducted by the team include simple contents, high
interaction level with continuous use of practical examples both in regard to
the delivery of contents and the process of experience-based learning. In this
manner high degree of active participation and contents’ acquisition with
participants of both genders is being provided throughout the whole training
implementation period. Use of various methods: interactive discussions,
brainstorming, group exercises, role play, aquarium, case studies, etc.,
combined with energizers make the training seminars interesting and fun for
participants.
Due to the specific methodology of work, participation of at least 3
representatives of both genders from each organization, with maximum of 21
participants per training is desirable.
At the same time, combined participation from higher-level managerial
structures and from activists implementing organizations’ project activities is
being recommended. Such participation profile enables encouragement of team work
on specific, every day work organizations’ examples, thus making training
effects much more practical and increasing the possibility for transfer and
application of acquired knowledge after the training’s completion.
After the completion of every training topic, participants receive printed
handouts with the contents covered during the training session.
For the purpose of meeting defined standards of professionalism and high
quality in terms of training preparation, continuous engagement and due
attention to participants’ learning needs, each training seminar is mandatorily
conducted by a team of two women instructors.
Evaluation of success is a standard, continuous procedure in the course of
training program’s implementation. After each training seminar, participants
make final evaluation by means of filling in detailed questionnaires, where in
addition to participants’ assessment of contents delivered, manner of work and
instructors, they are given the opportunity to provide individual suggestions
and recommendations for future training sessions.
Training reporting is performed within a standard format including
information on participants, on the course of training’s realization and on
specific discussions, exercises’ outcomes, detailed information from the final
evaluation, and trainers’ reflections.
