Two days workshop “The principle of Equal Opportunities of Women and Men within the work of the bodies of LSG Bitola”

On 14-16.05.2010 in Hotel Riviera, Ohrid was organized two
days workshop on the topic “The principle of Equal Opportunities of Women and
Men within the work of the bodies of LSG Bitola” attended by 16 representatives
of the Council and administration of the Municipality of Bitola.

The aim of the workshop was to clarify the provisions of the
Law on Equal Opportunities of Women and Men and to start a process of more
precisely defining of the responsibilities and the way of functioning on each
respective actor on the local level, towards achieving the goals of the Law. The
result of this process will be developing framework for operacionalization of
the provisions of the Law on Equal Opportunities of Women and Men.

This activity is carried out within the Annual Program of
Akcija Zdruzenska for 2010, financially supported by CIVICA Mobilitas,
FOSIM-Macedonia and Balkan Trust for Democracy.
