Working session towards unification of criminal justice system in combating domestic violence in Macedonia

The Association Citizens Akcija Zdruzenska-Skopje and the Association for
Emancipation, Solidarity and Equality of Women in the Republic of Macedonia, in
the period 14-16.09.2006 in Ohrid organized first working session for
representatives from the Ministry of Interior, Public prosecutors, investigative
judges and criminal law judges.

This is the first of the three working sessions within the project
“Establishing Unified and Positive Practices in Combating Domestic violence in
Macedonia”, as part of activities towards unification of the criminal justice
system.

At this working session it was discussed about psychological
violence-domestic violence as a criminal act, from psychological point of view
and in acordance with its’ legal regulation defining its phenomenon.
