On July 30, representatives of the Civic Women’s Initiative from Sveti Nikole held a meeting in the village of Dorfulija, Municipality of Lozovo, with women from local women’s circles.

The women of Dorfulija had the opportunity to learn about the available socio-economic measures and support mechanisms for women in rural areas.

During the meeting, participants discussed ways to access support for female farmers and the role of women in local development. The women shared experiences, challenges, and ideas for improving life in the village, emphasizing the need for continuous support.

As part of the workshop, new measures were proposed to address the socio-economic needs of women from Dorfulija and Lozovo.

The training was conducted by the team of GIZ Sveti Nikole as part of the project “Women Take the Lead in Local Communities,” implemented by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, Akcija Zdruzhenska, and the Humanitarian Association Majka – Kumanovo, funded by the Delegation of the European Union to North Macedonia and co-funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje.
