Representatives of local women’s organizations recently held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to North Macedonia, Ola Sohlström, where they discussed the importance of women’s leadership, local activism, and support for gender equality.

During the meeting, women who are actively engaged in their communities shared their experiences, challenges, and successes with the Ambassador, emphasizing that significant social change can be achieved through solidarity, mutual support, and joint engagement.

In a conversation filled with ideas, energy, and motivation, the importance of women’s networking and initiative as a key factor for the development of local communities was highlighted.

Ambassador Sohlström listened carefully to the participants and stated that Sweden remains committed to supporting women’s leadership, equality, and the active participation of women in public life.
