Overall objective: Improved women’s influence on the policy planning and decision making

Specific Objectives Empowered local women for active and meaningful participation from 9 local communities – Dabile, Zleovo, Shein Maalo, Ergelija, Biljanovce, Pero Cico, Dolno Kosovrasti, Dolno Orizari, Brusnichko Lavchanska (450 women from 9 communities provide feedback on the priority challenges and assess LSG performance in the area of competences; 150 women from 9 local communities increase their knowledge on the relevance, mechanisms and benefits of participation in the LSG annual programming and budgeting); Strengthened advocacy capacities of 6 local women NGOs – Women’s Civic Initiative Sveti Nikole, Organization of Women Strumica and Radika De Debar, Association for Advancement of the Status of Women in Macedonia „Women’s Action“ from Radovis, Humanitarian Association „Majka“ from Kumanovo, and Women’s Civic Initiative „Klea“ from Bitola (900 women directly communicated by field outreach actions for information, mobilization and facilitating access to key local planning and decision making; 24 local community women have enhanced their practical mobilization and advocacy skills and Increased monitoring and assessment on the efficiency in implementing legal and policy commitments by the parliament, government and LSG.
