General Objective :To create conditions that enable women to participate fully and effectively in the development of an equitable and democratic society, aligned with EU-related reform processes.

Expected Results :

  • Strengthened Capacities for Leadership and Advocacy : Empowerment of local women’s organizations and community women leaders to engage meaningfully in development processes and policy decision-making, Capacity-building in research, monitoring, and analysis, Development and tracking of evidence-based advocacy strategies, Facilitation of experience exchange and best practices for promoting gender equality.
  • Improved Access to Advocacy Opportunities : Enhanced participation of women and local organizations in advocacy at local and national levels. Development and promotion of evidence-based policy proposals before institutions., Organization of public debates and campaigns to raise awareness of women’s leadership and their role as key drivers of democratic change.
Targeted Support for Grassroots Empowerment : Financial, technical, and mentorship support for 7 local women’s organizations participating in Akcija Zdruzenska’s programs. Implementation of community-based strategies to mobilize and empower women from marginalized groups, Encouragement of active civic engagement and advocacy before local authorities.
A total of €100,000 from the project budget has been allocated for sub-grants to support local initiatives led by women’s organizations.

Raising awareness for more active and effective participation of women in the use of local e-services, building their capacities, breaking gender stereotypes and other barrieres for women to benefit equally from the opportunities offered by digitalization

With strong women to strengthened communities

Overall objective:
Improving the consultative practice of local governments in Demir Kapija, Rosoman and Gradsko by establishing practical and functional mechanisms for inclusive, transparent and gender responsive planning and budgeting and strengthening the skills of women from smaller communities to advocate and negotiate with relevant institutions at the local level
