General Objective :To create conditions that enable women to participate fully and effectively in the development of an equitable and democratic society, aligned with EU-related reform processes.
Expected Results :
- Strengthened Capacities for Leadership and Advocacy : Empowerment of local women’s organizations and community women leaders to engage meaningfully in development processes and policy decision-making, Capacity-building in research, monitoring, and analysis, Development and tracking of evidence-based advocacy strategies, Facilitation of experience exchange and best practices for promoting gender equality.
- Improved Access to Advocacy Opportunities : Enhanced participation of women and local organizations in advocacy at local and national levels. Development and promotion of evidence-based policy proposals before institutions., Organization of public debates and campaigns to raise awareness of women’s leadership and their role as key drivers of democratic change.
Targeted Support for Grassroots Empowerment: Financial, technical, and mentorship support for 7 local women’s organizations (Women’s organization of Strumica; Association „Radika DЕ“ Debar; Civic initiative of women-GIW Sveti Nikole; Association for promoting the status of women in Macedonia „Women Action" Radovish; Women’s Lobby Demir Kapija; Association for rural development LAG AGRO LIDER - Krivogastani and Organization „Women“ – Delcevo) participating in Akcija Zdruzenska’s programs. Implementation of community-based strategies to mobilize and empower women from marginalized groups, Encouragement of active civic engagement and advocacy before local authorities.
