On November 24, for the first time, women from rural and marginalized communities had their own space and voice at the Budget Forum in the Municipality of Pehčevo.

Their participation marks an important step toward increased visibility, equality, and inclusion in decision-making processes.

The organization Žena from Delčevo continues to advocate for the support, representation, and active participation of women in local policies, building a more equal and just community.

This activity is implemented within the project “Women Taking the Lead in Local Communities”, carried out by the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, Akcija Združenska, and the Humanitarian Association Majka – Kumanovo, funded by the Delegation of the European Union and co-financed by the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje.
