Organized by Radika De, within the framework of the project “Women Taking the Lead in Local Communities”, a field education session was recently conducted for women from the rural communities of Centar Župa. The participants actively engaged in educational sessions, discussions, and shared personal experiences, aiming to encourage their active involvement in the community.
The topics covered five key areas relevant to their daily lives: education, health, social protection, economic empowerment, and domestic violence.
The women shared personal stories, challenges, and ideas, creating a strong network of mutual support and motivation for further activities and strengthening their role in the community.
This initiative exemplifies the importance of local education and collaborative work towards gender equality, improving women’s social and economic status, and building a supportive community that promotes active citizenship.
The activity is part of a project implemented by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, Akcija Združenska, and the humanitarian association Majka – Kumanovo, funded by the European Union Delegation and co-financed by the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje.
